Preorders are available in the U.S., Taiwan, and Hong Kong only. We are currently only shipping to Hong Kong, Taiwan and the United States for our first batch of production. However, we will keep you posted once we have plans to ship them to other countries! You do not need a Play Pass as Playground comes with 3 included marquee titles! However, if you’d like full access to our game catalog as well as new games released throughout the year, please check out our Play Pass options.

Nex Playground will come with 3 marquee titles, and a variety of fun mini-games and experiences. Details about the launch titles will be announced later this fall.

We plan to offer à la carte purchases soon after the launch of Nex Playground. More details will be available closer to launch.

Nex Playground uses proprietary computer vision and AI system to track 18-nodes on your body in real-time using just the built-in camera. We also track multiple players concurrently for up to 4 players depending on the game. These algorithms run on the device directly and do not store or process any video in the cloud.

The remote controller is for navigation only as our games do not require it for gameplay. Thus, all of our current multiplayer games do not require multiple controllers to play! However, Nex is exploring how to use the remote to enhance certain titles in the future with force feedback (haptics) to make certain sports games more realistic. But in general it is not required to play.

While we can’t 100% guarantee delivery by Christmas, that is our goal and plan of record. We are very hopeful to hit this schedule!

Simply place the Playground device centered below your TV on your console (ideally 20+ inches off the ground) or on your fireplace mantle (ideally no more than 60 inches high) and the camera will detect the players in the room.

We recommend having a minimum area of about 6ft x 6ft of play space.
