For customers who pre-ordered a Play Pass along with their Playground, you will be billed for your Play Pass shortly after your device ships from the warehouse. That means if you are in Wave 1, you will be billed between December 11th and the 14th.
👉 Your subscription will not start until you activate your Play Pass on the system, so you won’t miss out on any playtime while you wait for your device to arrive!
Also, if you have purchased Play Pass as a gift, the clock won’t start on the subscription period until it’s activated.
After your credit card is billed for your subscription, our system will automatically generate an activation code and send it to you via the email you used to make the purchase. It’s important to keep this email, store it in a safe place for future use since you might receive the email before you receive your Playground device.

Once you enter your Play Pass activation code on your device, that’s it! You’ll instantly get access to the full catalog of Nex Playground games and activities.
When your Play Pass time is up, you will be billed for the next term automatically if you have an auto-renewing subscription. If you cancel before the next billing date, you will still have access to your Play Pass within the service period. You will need buy a new Play Pass if you later decide to re-subscribe, by scanning the QR code on your Playground device.
You can check your next billing date, cancel your Play Pass, or update your credit card info by enrolling in our self-service portal here. Create a new account, or just link your Shop account to our portal for easy access.
